So, I've been working on an RP series for the guild, one that will hopefully bring a little more cross faction RP to the group as a whole. I'd been putting it off for a while, due to RL stuff (my move from NC to CA, waiting to see what my new work schedule is like, etc.), but I'd like to get it moving. So, I'd like to go over the basics!
The IRIS series that I've planned will be broken into four acts, each of which will probably run 1 to 3 RP sessions (if they're all done in game. I'm open to having one or two be forum-based if people have trouble making in-game events), and will introduce an organization antagonistic to both Dominion and Exile players. Anyone will be free to use the organization (IRIS) for any events they'd like to run as well.
The first act in the series will involve a number of missing Exile explorers and scientists, as well as a number of missing Dominion supply transports. I'd like to get an idea of what days and times work best for people, so if you're interested in being a part of the first act, let me know what times work for you!
Sounds interesting! Let's see, Sundays are the days I am most likely to be busy with family things. Wednesday and Saturday are, of course, the raid nights. And for the time being, Tuesday night I have set aside for another series of RP events I've been asked to take part in.
So that leaves Monday, Thursday, and Friday as evenings I almost always have open, with Sunday as a pretty decent shot. For the foreseeable future I likely have time earlier in the day as well, on almost any day.
As for times, I prefer afternoon or evening PST. I try and stay off the computer until the afternoon and get chores, exercise, and work out of the way earlier.
I would still love to be a part of this, but unfortunately my schedule is still mostly random. I can't give you a specific day when I can play, but if I happen to be available on whatever days you schedule these, I'll be sure to let you know.
You know my schedule well. I'm down to do in-game events, so long as they're kept to 3 hours or less, since 3 hours is the amount of free time I have on weeknights. On a weekend, we could go longer, but I think we'll have a lot of trouble getting that sort of thing scheduled. I'm open to doing it on the forums too, but I'm not sure how much you want to do that.
I'd be open to helping you run, as well, if you want to have one or two people along to help you.
